Role overview
A highly respected, women-led private wealth team within a leading Canadian wealth management platform in Canada's West Coast is seeking an accomplished female advisor to join as a senior, partner-track advisor in a sophisticated, planning-driven high-net-worth practice.
This is a rare succession and ownership opportunity. The successful candidate will step into an established, multi-generational wealth business with a clear, structured pathway toward equity participation, leadership, and long-term ownership of a significant book of HNW client relationships.
The team delivers deeply personalized private wealth management with a strong emphasis on advanced tax planning, retirement income strategy, estate and intergenerational planning, and integrated investment management for affluent families, professionals, and business owners across Western Canada.
This is not a lateral hire. It is a long-term legacy and partnership opportunity.
Ideal advisor profile
The ideal candidate is:
A senior, accomplished female advisor with strong IIROC / CIRO licensing and a proven track record in discretionary or advice-driven private wealth management.
Deeply comfortable with tax-aware and estate-centric planning conversations, and experienced working alongside accountants and legal professionals.
Already managing, or capable of managing, a meaningful HNW book and motivated by partnership, succession, and ownership rather than a permanent employee role.
Aligned with a high-touch, relationship-first service model, with the maturity and judgment to steward long-standing multi-generational client relationships.
Entrepreneurial in mindset, but values collaboration, shared leadership, and a team-based private wealth culture.
Designations such as CFP, CPA, TEP, or advanced tax/estate credentials are considered strong assets.
Key responsibilities
Lead and co-lead comprehensive wealth planning engagements for affluent and high-net-worth clients, with emphasis on tax-efficient wealth structuring, retirement income, risk management, and estate planning.
Partner closely with the founding advisors to co-manage and progressively assume responsibility for established client relationships as part of a structured succession roadmap.
Collaborate with in-house and external tax, legal, and investment specialists to deliver fully integrated advice.
Contribute to thoughtful, values-aligned growth through referrals, centres of influence, and community presence, with particular resonance among women and next-generation wealth holders in Western Canada.
What this opportunity offers
A real succession and equity pathway
A defined, intentional transition plan toward partnership and equity ownership for the right successor.
Multiple potential structures (staged buy-in, partnership, equity transfer) aligned to both the candidate’s goals and the founders’ long-term vision.
The opportunity to inherit and grow a mature, values-driven private wealth practice rather than starting from scratch.
A rare, women-led private wealth culture
Join a highly respected female-led advisory team that prioritizes collaboration, mentorship, and excellence in client care.
A client experience rooted in education, clarity, trust, and proactive advice, with deep specialization in tax-smart and intergenerational planning.
A culture that blends warmth with rigor. High standards, no ego, no silos.
Institutional-grade platform without the bureaucracy
Access to advanced planning resources, investment platforms, and specialist teams within a top-tier Canadian wealth platform.
Infrastructure that allows you to focus on high-value advisory work and relationship leadership, not administrative friction.
The credibility of a major national platform combined with the feel of a boutique private wealth practice.
