Phil Frappier is a Business Development & Talent Acquisition Consultant and member of Capital Markets Advisors’ Recruiting Team. He is a seasoned executive search professional with over 15 years of experience specializing in senior leadership placements across capital markets, financial services, and technology. He has successfully led searches for CFOs, VPs of Finance, CIOs, CTOs, and other senior roles in finance, risk, compliance, and digital transformation for clients across North America and Europe.

Phil has deep domain expertise in financial leadership and a growing focus on technology and digital roles, particularly where finance and tech intersect—such as in fintech, SaaS, payments, data infrastructure, and AI-enabled platforms. He works closely with both private and public companies, including banks, asset managers, fintech startups, and PE-backed ventures, advising on executive hiring, succession planning, and leadership team composition.

Before joining Capital Markets Advisors, Phil held senior roles with leading executive search firms including IQ Partners and Searchlight Canada, where he built a strong reputation for placing transformative leaders in finance and technology. Earlier in his career, he held various leadership roles himself, which gives him a practical understanding of operational complexity, growth-stage scaling, and leadership fit.

Phil also serves as a Director on the Board of Intermap Technologies, where he chairs the Compensation Committeeand sits on the Audit Committee—bringing governance, strategic finance, and public company experience to his search practice.
