Our client is seeking an FX Sales Professional.
This is a front-office sales role for someone who already has experience selling FX solutions, understands corporate client needs, and is motivated by new business development, revenue growth and relationship building.
This is not a junior sales role, trainee role, or general financial services sales role.
About the Firm
The hiring firm is a global financial services platform that provides market access, liquidity, execution, clearing, hedging and investment solutions across financial markets, commodities and related asset classes.
The firm works with a broad range of clients, including corporations, financial institutions, asset managers, hedge funds, producers, traders and other market participants that require access to global markets and risk management solutions.
About the Role
The firm is looking for an FX Sales Professional who can help identify, develop and grow corporate client relationships.
This role is focused on new business development. You will research prospective clients, make introductory calls, build a sales pipeline, understand client currency exposure and help introduce appropriate FX solutions.
The product set includes foreign exchange, FX options and structured FX products.
This is a high-activity sales role. There will be regular phone outreach, Teams meetings and in-person client conversations. The right person should be comfortable with healthy competition, clear targets, regular feedback and a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Research prospective corporate clients and understand their business and potential FX needs
Add, qualify and disqualify leads on a regular basis
Make introductory calls to new corporate prospects
Build and manage a sales pipeline
Develop long-term corporate client relationships
Work with experienced FX sales leaders and internal mentors
Support revenue growth in a compliant and professional way
Stay aware of FX markets, economic developments and market structure changes
Understand how currency movements may affect prospects and clients
Meet weekly and monthly expectations for call activity, quality and sales outcomes
Attend regular training sessions and apply feedback quickly
Review your own sales activity and look for ways to improve
Work with internal teams across the business to support client needs
Required Experience
Candidates should bring:
Significant experience selling FX solutions
Experience with structured FX products
Strong prospecting and business development experience
Confidence making outbound calls to corporate clients and prospects
The ability to build relationships by phone, video and in person
Strong communication skills
Resilience and persistence
A goal-oriented approach to sales
The ability to take feedback and act on it quickly
Strong interest in FX markets, global markets and the economy
Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Existing corporate relationships or a strong network that can be professionally developed would be a strong asset.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is already comfortable in FX sales.
You understand that building a client portfolio takes prospecting, discipline, follow-up and resilience. You are comfortable making calls, having commercial conversations, learning from senior sales professionals and being held accountable to activity and revenue goals.
You should be motivated by growth, competition and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships in the FX market.
This role is best suited for someone who wants to build a serious career in FX sales, not someone looking for a slower-paced relationship management role.
Please Apply Only If
Please apply only if you have experience selling FX solutions and are comfortable in a high-activity sales environment.
This role is not intended for candidates who:
Are new to financial markets sales
Have no FX sales experience
Have no exposure to structured FX products
