Our client is seeking an Experienced FX Dealer.

This is a senior front-office role for someone who already has hands-on FX dealing experience, understands corporate currency needs, and brings an existing book or network of relationships they can develop in a professional and compliant way.

This is not a junior FX role, a trainee role, or a general financial services sales role.

The firm works with a broad range of clients, including corporations, financial institutions, asset managers, hedge funds, producers, traders and other market participants that require access to global markets and risk management solutions.

About the Role

The firm is looking for an experienced FX Dealer who can manage and grow client relationships while supporting clients with foreign exchange and hedging solutions.

You will be responsible for developing your own portfolio of corporate relationships, identifying client needs, supporting FX execution and helping clients access appropriate solutions across spot, forwards, options and structured FX products.

This role requires someone who can walk in with real market knowledge, real client experience and the ability to build revenue from an existing relationship base.

This is an office-based role.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate client relationships

• Work directly with clients on FX spot, forwards, options and structured products

• Help clients understand and manage currency exposure

• Identify and develop new client opportunities through existing relationships and market knowledge

• Generate revenue in a professional and compliant way

• Stay current on FX markets, product developments and regulatory expectations

• Work with sales, operations, legal and compliance on client matters

• Help resolve transaction, documentation or client service issues when they arise

• Provide regular updates on client activity, pipeline and revenue opportunities

• Contribute to a strong front-office culture built on performance, judgment and regulatory discipline

Required Experience

Candidates should bring:

• At least 5 years of experience as an FX Dealer

• Direct client-facing FX experience

• Experience structuring, selling and dealing FX products

• Strong knowledge of FX spot and forwards

• Experience with FX options

• Experience with structured FX products

• An existing book, portfolio or network of corporate client relationships

• A proven ability to originate and grow business

• Experience working with corporate treasury, finance teams or companies with currency exposure

• Strong communication skills

• Strong commercial judgment

• A clear understanding of regulated financial markets

Relationships with Canadian corporates or companies with CAD/USD currency exposure would be a strong asset.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is already established in FX dealing.

You know how to speak with clients about currency exposure, hedging needs and product solutions. You understand the difference between simply selling a product and building a long-term client relationship.

You also bring existing relationships that can be developed lawfully, ethically and in line with any contractual or regulatory obligations.

This role is best suited for someone who wants to grow a serious FX client portfolio inside a global financial services platform.

Compensation

Base salary range: $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience, plus commission.
